The last blog I'll write on this course (if I pass the Final Test). There were a lot of blogs and themes to extend me and gettin' better my English.
First, I'll write about the course as a CFG instead of an integrated course of the curriculum carrer. I hope in the next years it will be solved, but that's no an excuse to write about my progress and even my debilities, mainly my Listening (maybe it would be a biological condition of my ears, haha). On the contrary, I feel that my Writing and my Orality upgraded in some levels, altough I either could say these skills are in an unquestionable perfection.
Dig blogging help me to improve my English? Of course. The blogs were powerful tools to recreate hypothetical situations which one could telling a random theme to the language native people and even people with other idioms equally postured in the improvemente of our English skills. The only thing I dislike about blogging is the time limit. I have wished the whole day to could write.
I think that my future English language challenges is gain knowledge in the coloquial uses and English local dialects, because the impediment of learning the language in a classroom is don't learn about that because of time, but I think that is matter of practice when I get the chance to travel to other country and MUST to learn other words, for example: the American English is not the same than New Zealand English.
I definitely agreed that classes (blogging and workgroups) serve me to could confront the future in my field, because all the plataforms and concepts are a derivative of the english Film Industry, so it's an imperative to handle all that things, and the most important reason for me...to stop viewing the English films with subtitles!.

A complex theme
The future...only the concept unleashes a lot of hypothetical problems and disgusts that I prefer not argue with myself...ok, let's say that I prefer the idea of not moving forward and not bring assumptions. All in all, not predefine my whole life. The earlier sentence not include the scenarios that I'd feel better, and the act of daydreaming with tle closer future and his bittersweet actions.
When I end up my carrer, I hope could get the chance to travel to New Zealand and take up the Working Holiday program. One of the things what I need to travel is a minimum economical solvency of NZ$ 4200 . That mount in local money will account aproximately 1,8 million. So maybe I must to generate money consistenly. That VISA program provides the chance of working and studying in there, for a six-month period.
I engaged with the idea when heard a lot of comments about people who gather together money, or also people who travel around the world with the accumulated money. So I honestly want to take that chance before thinking about "laboral convenience". I'd love intrude a trip in all matters with the work or the studies.
But, as this blog has to treat about any future job, I'll say that I hopefully still working with the people that I've worked since 4 years ago, maybe in a unpretencious production company. Although, I could say I'm open for another kind of works, as long as I keep on developing my deep love for the act of filmmaking.
In the same way, it needs a lot of stuffs in my field, so I don't care the type of work in a closer future, I just only enjoying that moment and the possibilities to concret the introduction of the trip as basal concept in my life.

A night front the screen
OK, first of all we have to fix two big moments in the Videogames topic.
The first moment was related with the childhood, when only exist the 2D world, and Nintendo rules the 90's. I obviously liked a lot of titles from this console, like Super Mario saga, the Zelda's games and de Donkey Kong's. My favourite in this group is Donkey Kong, without doubt, because their advaces graphics for that period, and their very fascinating visual universe made me spended front the TV hours and hours. That´s why I hadn't that console, only I had the NES console, with a few games, so I had to went to cousin's home to spend the night. I also must comment about the amazing soundtrack of this game, especially the first release.
The second moment goes since the adolescence, when the 3D graphics began to awake the videogames world(that includes the global showing of Playstation consoles) until now.
When I was 15 I had a PlayStation One console with a lot of games. Later I bought a PS 2 console that I use til now (homage to "Grand Theft Auto" saga and "Crash Bandicoot" saga), but the platform that seduces me a lot is the PC. The high processing output enables the pleasuring of a lot of games in high resolution with impressive graphics.
The game that mades me mad was Half-Life 2 (Episode 1 and 2)
But, excluding the importance of the technological advances or the supremacy of a good story, there's a game that could disregard of both, and it's outstanding : Crazy Taxi...yeah!

Hey dude, the planet breaths too!
The preservation of the envirorment is a big topic which is difficult to drive, because all kind of relationship with the nature begins in the own thought and the own level of awareness about it.
Truly, I haven't incorporated the recycling at all, only like the particular case of recycling plastic bags and trying to avoid receiving more and more bags of the supermarkets, mainly.
Later, the issue leads (or it supposes) to the community worries, and the setting of new common liabilities. Of course, helped with public resources. Another worry of my actions concerns with the efficient use of water. When I get a shower or wash my tooths, always keep in my mind don't let opened the taps.
One very important thing is the very firm obligation of the community to getting the right info and could understand that any striking idea originated for capitalist interests has only the objective of sell and catch money, and don´t really worry about an lingerined envriomental education. Finally, all covered with Governmental politics and laws, catching offender companies and judging' em
Certainly, I'd like to do more things, but I haven´t a full culture of recycling and the reducing of my carbone footrprint, but I expect to have learned more practics and solutions in a couple of years later, like using the bicycle in every moment or separate the garbage per material, and making the planet a little more healthy, until the humankind destroy it completely.

Once upon a time in the Forsaken Land
Well…there
is a lot of good movies which their stories have created in my mind – in
different ways - a point of view about
the society, their shadows and brightness, their ways to lie and to survive. I’d
love to comment every one, but at this moment I prefer focus on one movie that
I saw some time ago. It’s titled: The Forsaken Land, directed by Vimukthi
Jayasundara.
I discover
this movie when the Valdivia Film Festival announced the screening of
Jayasundara’s filmography, but I couldn’t see (and going to) in that moment
(2011), so I had to download.
This movie captivated
me since the pre-introduction. His photographic quality applied to personify
the nature and turn the characters into their sorrows and exaltations, all
envolved by a manner of the director to confront the pass of time with the
mythologic atmosphere inserted into the souls of the charcters.
| The Forsaken Land, 2005 |
On
reflection, I’m going to talk about another movie that I remembered it is very
similar to the previous one in some way: Once Upon a Time In Anatolia. The
director, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, gives the same significance to the expressive
force of the nature, like a witness of the situations relating to the human
acts and feelings, like the use of wind, breeze sometimes, and wind gust in
other moment.
| Once Upon a Time in Anatolia, 2011 |
These examples
reflected my predilection to see how the clime and the landscapes hold hands
with the internal climate of the characters hearts.

British TV
I'm going to
blog about an article provided from the online edition of The Guardian daily.
It was focused on the users that haven't acquired their TV license and some
advices about the pros and cons about buying it. In fact, we can
notice in the upper paragraph about more than 400.000 people were
caught without their TV licenses, and paying high fines, all in a
year-measuring.
This article highlighted three advices about the situations which a
British citizen must to have canceled his
£145.50 colour licence, which these ones goes since the uses of any add-on
device like smarthphones or tablets, even to the people who still watching in
black-and-white television (13.000 people). To this sentence we can detach that
British TV License goes to all the citizens, and no matter how is your economic
situation...if you're going to watch live TV or record live programs, you must
to pay
Besides, the article notice about the conditions which
you don't need to buy a TV License. I could say briefly if you don't want or
don't like to see Live TV, and only you prefer the catch-up ones, until
24 June 2013 you had to make a declaration to TV Licensing, but it was
inconsiderated like a legal requirement.
The license is disregarded to over-75 years old
people, blind people and care-home or Nursing home residents.

Music
My history with the music I listen in these years, weeks, days and hours, could be so wide for writing it during an hour, so I'll pretend to focalize in some moments when I discovered the bands that join me since 14 years old.
First of all, the music means to me a lot, because for that way I've also learnt about points of view of the societies, certain atmospheres and perceptions about cultural manifestations and even certain dream-like trips, farther the tangible reality and his maelstrom.
During my 14 years I listened a lot of Grunge music, especially the band Alice In Chains (even nowadays, although with less frequency), because his heart-rending tunes and the powerful voice of Layne Staley made me know about the giant musical universe I've been discovering til now. Certainly, I was influencied by some friends in these years about to discover a lot of musical genres and
Later, when I was 16 years old, I discover a band called Slowdive, who is my favourite band until now. This band belonged to the Shoegaze and Dream Pop scene. His music sounds like they play under the sea. Just listen them, people!
Finally, in the last 2 or 3 years ( by the way I have 21 years old) I've discovered a lot of groups and DJs in the Trip Hop and Hip hop scene, but with sub-genres from Jazz to Downtempo, mainly Prefuse 73, Funki Porcini, Blockhead, RJD2 and Bowery Electric, among others. So I could finish saying that I never get tired of listen music.

Summer time(s)
It's strange to post about this topic, because I feel that my best holidays in my life have been in a familiar sense, for the simple reason that I haven't travel with my family to the places that we visited in my infancy, like La Serena, Pucón, Colbún Lake, and some other places about 8 years ago until now. So, when I think about that, only emerge homesickness.
My best holiday with my family was when we travel to Colbún Lake. It were 3 summer holidays that traveled there, and each year we spent about 3 weaks. The place in that time (I never ever went) was so beautiful, with a peaceful lake, a warm weather with some days really really sweltering, and amazing view of the mountains and nice campfire nights. All of we enjoyed spend the time there. Besides, in these times we always travel with uncles and cousins, so there were more reasons to amuse with Colbún Lake.
But, in the last years I have traveled only with friends, so I lately have other kind of experiences. The best holiday with my friends was when we traveled for a week to Vilches , a mountain zone located 52 km to the east of Talca. It has a thick forest and a fairly warm creek and funny people.
So, I have two best holidays, but each holiday has his charm.

Thailand
I remember that when I was a child (8-12 years old) I wanted to travel to Italy, because I have a cousin who visited this country in this years, and I dreamt with doing the same. Later, I caught on that I didn't have more reasons for keep dreaming with Italy.
After that, when I was 16-17 years old, I love with the idea to travel to Tailand, jaja
Actually, I desire whit the possibility to travel and to know the people around there.

I know a little, for not saying I don't know nothing. Only I know about the weather, bloody rainy and damp, with so many forests and beautiful places ("beautiful" is a short word to describe the pictures that I could see). But there's a place what I really love to know, and that is the Koh Phi Phi Leh. This island is where was filmed the movie "The Beach" (truly, the movie sucks and only matters the landscape).
But I wouldn't travel only for an idyllic and massive scenary. I would travel to know about the people and their uncountable diversity. In fact, if I have the chance to visit Tailand, I will straining for learning any local language, besides about thier ways to living. Maybe I would thinking of taking a job if I pretend to stay several months or a year.

A little about me
Hi. My name is Eduardo and this is my last English level, so I pretend to learn and dedicate this lessons to improve my skills, especially Listening and Oral Expression techniques.
I was born in Santiago on 1991. I lived twelve years here (I said "here" because I'm blogging from this city, and actually I live here because of my career), but at twelve, my family (which includes my parents and my younger sister) moved to Valparaíso.
In the port, I finished my secondary and high-school years, but I came back to this city to learning Film-making...the paradoxes of life.
My biggest hobby is to listening a lot of music and discovering new noises and artists. Also including playing some instruments like piano and MIDI keyboard.
Well. I haven't more to tell in this moment, so I just want to say goodbye and good luck.
